This coming May i will be going to USA to work for about 10 weeks..
At Grand Canyon!! I heard the sunset there is very nice..=D
work and travel usa programme!!
Went for the job interview on sat..actually it was quite crap, coz the employer just simply asked about your working experience and what kind of job you hope to do there and most importantly, when can you leave for US..
I think it's because they need alot of man power in that period of time coz the US students are starting school..
only had chance to join the 2nd recruitment, coz i missed the 1st one, which had much more fun jobs like working in theme parks as ride operators and food sellers..
for 2nd recruitment all was left was hotel workers and petrol stations etc..
I was quite lucky coz i told them about my experience working at the cheesecake shop and she promised to arrange for me a chance to work as the cook helper or even in the bakery if possible..if not will have to work as chambermaids..hahas
Actually chambermaid is not too bad after all..coz you get regular working shifts like from 8 to 4pm and free tips!!
I think it's hard work for me again..
I have around one week to travel after the working..hopefully can visit las vegas and some other places..coz grand canyon is quite isolated in Arizona and the nearest town Flagstaff is abt 2hrs car ride away..
Looking forward to making lots of friends over there!!
Hopefully i will be fully recovered by then..which i will work hard to achieve right now..
