____________________________________________ Some crazy (but very interesting) things happening in grand canyon:
1)Just two days ago you are still wearing shorts and the next morning you open the door, there is 4 inch of snow!!
2)You go out of your dorm for a nice breakfast and see a DEER chewing away the grass just opposite the road..=)
3)Freezing cold in the early hours of the night and scorching sun at noon, and chilling wind again when the sun disappeared in late afternoon..basically it just meant you have to constantly put on and take off layers of clothes..hahas
4)Most DANGEROUS animal in the park: SQUIRRELS
(because tourists like to feed them and 90% of the injuries in the park are squirrel bites..=X)
5)The 10-5 rule: smile at 10 feet away from the guest, and at 5 feet away, engage in verbal conversation!
6)Saw a Thai guy who looked like the more shuai4 version of Tank, and he works in the same kitchen as me as back of house!! Yay!!! But i think his very pretty girlfriend stays just opp our dorm..OMG..=X Nevertheless that's still a motivation some how..Hahahas =p
Waked up at 430am today to see sunrise at Bright Angel's (actually neat El Tovar hotel) together with the guys in our group (with 6 ppl), freezing but very satisfying!!! Breath-taking!!!)
Just ended general and unit orientation today...quite sleepy..beginning my classes tomorrow, at the test kitchen, and on tue and wed i need to work at the kitchen from 6am till 3pm..0.0

(Btw, there are just sooo many cute squirrels at Bright Angel's lodge!! And you can go so close that you can touch them) Perfect place for me..hahas..shall try to upload photos asap..=)
