While working at Venezia, i encountered a lot of customers asking stuff like "What goes well with macademia nuts icecream?" and problems associated with choosing suitable flavours for 2 or 3 flavoured cups. Personally i feel that whether or not one flavour goes well with another is very objective, and it really depends on your own taste buds.
Nevertheless this has aroused my curiosity on "designing" and "mix-and-matching" different flavours of icecreams and assigning different themes to each. Below is some combinations that i have thought of, STRICTLY FROM MY PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW, so dont go to the Venezia shops asking for "Jealousy" or stuff like that!! But of course you can try and see if it feels the same for you =P
Theme and Combinations (2-flavour cup) "Above 21" -Tiramisu and Rum & Raisin (Both has acohol inside)
"Jealousy" - Passion fruit and Rasberry (Both are very SOUR)
"Italian Love" - Tiramisu and Italian Coffee
"Route 66" - Crunchy Nut and Chocolate Chip (Americans like these 2 flavours)
"Exotic Life" - Mango and Coconut (Both are exotic fruits)
"Doctors Away" - Yoggi and Green Tea with Red Bean (Quite healthy)
"Butterfly" - Butterscotch and Biscotti (Both have butter and caramel base)
"Say Cheese" - Tiramisu and Forest Berries (Both have mascarpone cheese)
"What is That" - Cassata and Tartufo (One is Ricotta cheese plus dried fruits and another is chocolate and hazelnut)
"Unforgettable" -Durian and Dark Chocolate (Both are very rich and distinct)
"Refresh" - Mint chocolate and Lemon (Both are refreshing of course!)
"Childhood" -Belgium Chocolate and Strawberry (Ordinary but Classics!!)
"Ever Popular" -Cookies & Cream and Macademia Nut (Both Hot-selling!)
