Life's been full of struggles lately..hardly have a chance to gasp for some air =(
Ever since i stepped up to this position, things hardly ever went on smoothly..sort of expected the challenges ahead..but..isnt it a bit too much?? It's already past 6 months and things are still going on this way..perhaps this just shows just how inefficient i am and the many skills im still lacking and should start training on..haiz..
Been busy preparing for the upcoming oct pdn, in fact dedicating almost 80% of my time to it..staying late in school for more than half of the days in a week, running between front and back stage, actors and directors, heads and leaders, cfa and ucc, exco and members..blah blah..
Hardly have the time to eat a meal at home or talk to my closer ones or flip a page of my dust-covered notes..and even if i have the time, i would find myself picking up calls from my excos or the admin staffs or sms-ing my directors and crews or replying endless emails that never fail to choke up my inbox without me checking just for a few hours..=X
Most disappointing is the presence of some extremely uncooperative and harsh and irritating and unfeeling people who always create dins big and small for you, every now and then. Worst still is u have to force yourself to tolerate their tempers and try your best to mitigate things so as to maintain the image of the whole group and all the others around you just dont understand it..sianzz
Alright alright i understand all this is just A PART OF THE LEARNING PROCESS, thats why im still trying my best to put everything in their correct orders and face every problem that is to be faced and be prepared for more coming up..
Alright got to start re-doing my bump in schedule and email seniors and chase the directors to catch up with the production schedule and monitor the progress of my backstage people and write the tech rider and design my cuelist and think about next week's activity..
I hope i survive my midterms..haha.
Can anyone buy me an oxygen mask??
