Dad leaving tomorrow morning as he starts school again on Mon. So we went for yum cha at chinatown early in the morning. To my surprise, there were a lot of youngsters in the restaurant! Since when did young people start to appreciate this kind of old hongkong breakfast? =P While gobbling down the food and 茶, i noticed a waiter delivering something to the table behind us. It looks like a glass of green cocktail with white fumes oozing out, and i thought it was some kind of 招牌 drink in the restaurant. Decided to end the yum cha session with something sweet and ordered "黑糯米冰淇淋", which turned out to be that "green cocktail" thing!! Acually they put the dessert in a small cone-shaped cup, and then stacked it on top of the cocktail glass. Maybe the dry ice was used to keep icecream cold?

Later we went to bugis for some shopping, and my dad left to do his lectures. So mum and i decided to move on to orchard and remove more adipose tissues. A lot of shops started the 7% gst rebate, but sadly i didnt see a lot of people responding to that. Maybe 7% is not a lot after all..=P Had a very nice dinner after that at home =)
